The struggle with 'b' and 'd'...

Kindergarteners, First Graders, and Second Graders are notorious for mixing up those blasted 'b's and 'd's.  I love, love, love the "bed" rule for this problem! 

Introduce students to the word bed and how the word actually looks like a bed.

Then show them how their fists and thumbs come together to make 'b's, d's, and a bed.

Then practice, practice, practice!
