Gingerbread Unit

Is there anything more fun than a Gingerbread Unit in December?  I think not!!!

Here we go!

We started by reading the story of the Gingerbread Man!  Then we put in order story events!  See below!

You absolutely cannot have a gingerbread unit without actually eating a gingerbread cookie.  The holidays are crazy enough for me as is, so I went the Pepperidge Farm route rather than baking my own cookies! And it worked perfectly fine!  The kiddos each received a cookie and were given the instructions to take one bite only.  Then we graphed which parts of the gingerbread cookie were bitten first.

We made adorable gingerbread boys and girls!

Reindeer Unit

Oh what fun we are having....

Check out the cute reindeer we just made out of toilet paper rolls!

And what about these kindergarten reindeer?!?!?
We read a story about Ronnie the Reindeer.

We wrote a persuasive sentence about why we should be allowed to care for Santa's reindeer.

We were busy, busy, busy.
